Acceptable Performance/Condition
Roof framing members shall be sized and installed in accordance with the Building Code.

Warranty
One-Year Work and Materials
Damage resulting from improper maintenance or additions, deletions or alterations made by the homeowner is excluded from the warranty.

Action
Roof framing members not meeting the acceptable performance shall be repaired.

Remarks
Deflection due to normal loading and bowing due to normal drying of wood framing materials
is acceptable.  Heavy loads of ice and snow can damage a roof. Normal home maintenance should include professional removal of heavy buildups of ice and snow.  There may be some variation from truss to truss that are not structurally significant.
