Allan construction was using paper and a whiteboard to track all their construction projects and each piece of equipment. Not all project statuses were regularly updated, and some equipment in the fleet would receive late maintenance services. This one piece of their operations was behind the times in their industry-leading company.
An online company portal tied together project and equipment tracking, along with the existing employee timecard system that we had previously built. Staff now had one convenient point of access, and could update their project status from their mobile devices in the field. The system uses GPS data from the fleet of vehicles to track operating time and efficiency, schedule maintenance, and keep the fleet in working order.
